    Expedited Coordination

Time-Sensitive & STAT Pre-Op Services in South Florida

When a surgical date is close and testing is still outstanding, Pink Mobile Labs & Diagnostics will try to prioritize your scheduling across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Expedited handling is offered subject to availability, the orders you have in hand, and laboratory processing and clinical review times — it is not a guaranteed turnaround.

Expedited when available Mon–Sun: 7am – 5pm Call before booking online

Call us to review your timeline

    Call rather than booking online

Short-timeline requests need a conversation. Call 754-300-9290 with your procedure date and your surgeon's orders so we can tell you honestly what is achievable before you commit to an appointment.

    What expedited actually means

Expedited means we attempt to prioritize scheduling and coordination for patients with a near-term surgical date. It does not change how long a laboratory takes to process a specimen, how long a radiologist takes to interpret a study, or how quickly a surgical facility reviews documentation.

We do not promise same-day clearance, and we will not quote a turnaround we cannot control. What we can do is move quickly on the parts that are ours: getting to you, collecting correctly the first time, and releasing results where you direct them.

    Common last-minute situations

    • A surgeon's office adds a required test days before the procedure
    • A clearance checklist was received late or was incomplete
    • A patient travels to South Florida and discovers outstanding testing on arrival
    • An initial result prompts the surgical team to request additional testing
    • A procedure is rescheduled earlier than originally planned
    • Documentation never reached the surgical coordinator and must be re-sent

How a time-sensitive request is handled

    1. 1

      Call instead of booking online

Time-sensitive requests are handled by phone so we can assess them honestly before you commit. Call 754-300-9290 and describe your procedure date and what has been ordered.

    2. 2

We review what is actually possible

Availability, your address within our service area, the specific tests ordered, and laboratory processing times all determine whether an expedited timeline is realistic. We would rather tell you no than have you miss a deadline believing otherwise.

    3. 3

      Confirm orders and documentation

Expedited work still requires the same orders and requisitions as routine work. Missing paperwork is the single most common cause of delay.

    4. 4

      Priority scheduling when available

If an expedited slot is available for your location, we schedule the collection, EKG, or imaging coordination as early as capacity allows.

    5. 5

      Laboratory processing and clinical review

Once specimens leave with us, timing depends on the laboratory and the interpreting or reviewing clinician. Most test results are available within 24–72 hours, depending on the test and laboratory.

    6. 6

      Release to your surgical team

Results and documentation are released to you and, where you direct us, to the surgeon, coordinator, or facility that must receive them before your date.

Tight deadline? Let's look at it together.

What to have ready before you call

    • Your exact procedure date, time, and facility
    • The written orders, requisition, or clearance checklist from your surgeon
    • Direct contact details for the surgical coordinator who must receive results
    • A complete medication and supplement list, including doses
    • Your medical history: prior surgeries, conditions, allergies, anesthesia history
    • Government-issued photo identification
    • Any labs, EKG, or imaging already completed — recent results may reduce what still needs collecting
    • The exact address, unit number, and access instructions for the visit

    Factors that affect turnaround

    • Which specific tests were ordered — turnaround differs substantially between tests
    • The processing laboratory handling your specimens
    • Whether required orders and requisitions are complete at the time of collection
    • Whether repeat or additional testing is requested after initial results
    • Appointment availability within our service area on the day you need it
    • How quickly the receiving surgeon, coordinator, or facility reviews what is sent

    This is not emergency care

Expedited pre-op scheduling applies to planned procedures. If you have urgent symptoms — chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, fainting, or anything that alarms you — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department instead of booking a mobile appointment.

    Service area and hours

Expedited coordination is limited to Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County. Main location: 2820 NE 214th Street, Unit 8th Floor, Aventura, FL 33180. Hours: Mon–Sun: 7am – 5pm.
